Job Description
ARAMARK is currently seeking Room Attendants for the Manic-5 site
Employees are provided with meals, individual room and bathroom, as well as access to a washer and dryer.
Aramark offers a transportation allowance and highly competitive group insurance benefits.
Position: Room Attendant
Location: Manic-5
Salary: $19.41 per hour, with annual increases based on union negotiations.
• Overtime is paid at time and a half.
Schedule: Aramark offers work rotations of 4/3 or 7/7.
Candidates must live in Baie-Comeau and surrounding areas or be able to travel to Baie-Comeau airport.
Job Responsibilities
• Clean and maintain rooms: cleaning, changing linens, restocking supplies.
• Maintain common areas: hallways, bathrooms, lobby, etc.
• Provide customer service and respond to guest requests.
• Ensure hygiene and sanitation programs are followed.
• Be able to meet operational needs.
• Perform any other related duties as required.
Qualifications
• Training in hospitality or relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently, with rigor and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, honesty, and good judgment.
• Professional appearance and discretion.
• Knowledge of hygiene standards and cleaning products.
• Good physical condition.
• Ability to work long hours on your feet.
• Class 5 driver’s license (asset).
• The room attendant helps maintain a clean and pleasant environment for guests.

The finalist candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, when necessary, a vulnerable sector background check. Employment with Aramark is conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by the company.
