Food Service Director – Seniors Living Community
We’re looking for a Food Service Director who believes that great food and genuine hospitality can make someone’s day. In this role, you’ll lead the dining program in a seniors living community, creating meals and experiences that feel comforting, dignified, and enjoyable for residents and their families.
Reporting to the District Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, support a dedicated team, and help make the dining room a true gathering place. If you love building relationships, leading with heart, and running a smooth, well organized operation, this role is a great fit.
Redefining the Patient Experience - We provide industry leading dining, environmental, facilities, and healthcare services in hospitals. By combining hospitality, science, and culinary expertise, we create environments where caregivers and patients can relax, recharge, and recover.
Our services range from Patient Dining, Retail Dining to Clinical Nutrition and beyond.
Job Responsibilities
• Lead the dining team to deliver warm, attentive service and consistently delicious meals
• Create menus that balance nutrition, variety, and resident preferences
• Bring company food, service, and safety programs to life every day
• Support and grow the catering program for community events, celebrations, and family gatherings
• Oversee production, merchandising, quality control, labour management, scheduling, staffing, and training
• Coach and develop your team using Aramark’s Service Excellence platform
• Identify and nurture talent within the team
• Maintain top tier sanitation and food safety standards
• Build and manage budgets, forecasts, and business plans
• Monitor financial performance to meet company and client goals
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Maintain records that meet Aramark and government requirements
• Support Marketing and HR programs
• Champion Aramark’s policies, procedures, and Health & Safety standards
Qualifications
• A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management (or related field) is an asset
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a similar operation is an asset
• Strong leadership and organizational skills — you know how to bring out the best in a team
• Solid analytical, planning, and financial management abilities
• Excellent communication skills with residents, families, clients, colleagues, and staff

The pay range for this position is $70,019.00 - $88,055.00.
