WHAT YOU’LL DO


Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the F&B Retail Manager oversees the daily operations of retail food service components, including both proprietary concepts and third-party contracts. This role involves planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating multiple units while leading and developing a team of food service associates. The Retail Manager ensures operational excellence, financial performance, and exceptional customer service across all locations.

Job Responsibilities

•    Lead the day-to-day operations of all retail components, stepping in to support front-line functions when needed.
•    Ensure full compliance with Aramark standards, third-party contract agreements, health & safety regulations, and food safety policies.
•    Develop and manage period forecasts, analyzing and explaining variances in sales, costs, and operational performance.
•    Oversee staff scheduling and daily labor tracking; report labor updates to the Assistant General Manager.
•    Manage inventory control, food and labor costs, and direct operating expenses; assist with weekly inventory counts.
•    Ensure a high standard of quality, accuracy, and courteous customer service is delivered consistently.
•    Partner with leadership to manage recruitment, onboarding, training, progressive discipline, accommodations, and HR policy compliance.
•    Support the Assistant General Manager and HR team in conducting employee relations matters and disciplinary action.
•    Motivate and develop Supervisory staff, promoting accountability and operational excellence.
•    Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to plan and launch promotions and brand activations.
•    Monitor and coordinate equipment maintenance and repair needs.
•    Manage daily revenue collection, reporting, and deposits; ensure compliance with cash handling and auditing protocols.
•    Uphold all Aramark policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

•    Minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in a high-volume, fast-paced food service environment.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant business software.
•    Strong financial acumen with experience managing food and labor costs, inventory, and budget forecasting.
•    Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
•    Well-organized and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
•    Flexible and dependable — must be available for evening and weekend shifts as required.
•    Valid driver’s license required.
•    Experience working in a unionized environment is considered a strong asset.
