Aramark is hiring a full-time experienced Manager for our Starbucks location at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON.  The Starbucks Manager is responsible for developing and implementing beverage and dining solutions to meet customer needs and tastes. Oversees and manages Aramark Starbucks operations where customers order beverages and prepared foods from a menu.  As a Starbucks leader you are driven by a deep sense of purpose. Job Responsibilities

•    Oversees the Starbucks and Aramark standards of services
•    Follows the Operational Excellence fundamentals by maintaining food and labour initiatives
•    Ensures individual and team is trained, and their performance meets objective and client expectations
•    Trains and schedules staff, places orders, manages inventory levels, arranges shift coverage
•    Brings value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
•    Plans, directs, and coordinates food service activities to deliver a finished product to the customer
•    Supervises the team regarding production, quality and control
•    Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patrons and employees

Qualifications

•    Minimum 2 year’s experience as a Starbucks manager is required for this position
•    Experience in directing the work of others as per job duties and business requirements
•    Ability to act with a ‘Customer comes first attitude’ to meet and exceed expectations
•    Experience training and scheduling staff, ordering, inventory, approving payroll
•    Flexible to work various shifts including events during the evenings and weekends
•    Effective oral communication skills and knowledge of the retail environment
•    Maintain effective working relationships with managers, staff and patrons 
•    Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs.
•    Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

The pay range for this position is $55,000.00 - $60,000.00.
