Aramark is looking for a Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals while supporting Kosher - certified kitchen operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining food safety, quality, and compliance with kosher standards.

Job Responsibilities
What you’ll do
- Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes and production plans
- Support Kosher - compliant food handling practices, including proper separation, labeling, and storage
- Follow all ingredient verification and approved sourcing requirements as directed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and workstations
- Monitor food safety standards, temperatures, and logs
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory
- Support meal service, including plating, portioning, and line service
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Follow Aramark policies, safety procedures, and customer service standards

Qualifications
- Experience as a cook or in a related role required 1-3 yrs
- Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
- Must be able to acquire food safety certification
- Demonstrate basic math and counting skills
- Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

This role operates within a Kosher certified kitchen environment

Employees must follow all required kosher handling procedures and operational protocols

Training will be provided; candidates must be willing and able to learn and adhere to certification requirements
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
