Catering Supervisor – Corporate Dining & Events

We’re looking for a Catering Supervisor who knows how to turn great food and thoughtful service into memorable experiences. You’ll be leading the catering program for a well known, highly respected corporate client — the kind of environment where professionalism matters, details count, and people genuinely appreciate great hospitality.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll oversee the day to day operations of the catering department, from intimate boardroom lunches to large scale corporate events. If you love planning, organizing, collaboration, and making clients feel taken care of, this role is right up your alley.

Job Responsibilities

•    Lead and coordinate catering requests and events of all sizes, ensuring every detail is executed smoothly
•    Deliver catering services to clients in a discrete and professional manner, especially while meetings are underway.
•    Meet with clients to understand their needs — menus, floor plans, rentals, staffing, and overall event flow
•    Manage bookings, create event orders, and provide final approval before events go live
•    Partner with the select Vendors to design menus that impress
•    Make sure instructions are clear so your team can deliver exactly what the client expects
•    Monitor and replenish coffee service areas while ensuring all kitchen appliances are cleaned and maintained.
•    Ensure every guest receives warm, polished, professional service
•    Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and service
•    Oversee purchasing, inventory levels, and cost control for the catering department including the alcohol inventory and policy.
•    Participate in operational reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
•    Manage the catering budget on behalf of the client
•    Seek out new opportunities and help grow the catering program
•    Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
•    Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care
•    Lead scheduling, training, and performance management for your team
•    Ensure all staff follow Health & Safety policies and Aramark procedures
•    Uphold Classic Fare Catering standards and participate in ongoing training and program updates

Qualifications

•    2–4 years of catering experience
•    A track record of growing business and building strong client relationships
•    Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
•    Strong leadership abilities and confidence managing a team
•    Ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing sight of the details
•    A sharp eye for quality and consistency
•    Proven ability to use Catering booking programs, capable of issuing invoices and managing Accounts payable accurately and in a timely manner.
