Aramark is recruiting a Food Service Manager to independently manage our Self-Serve operations at a downtown Toronto office building. This is a Monday – Friday day shift that offers our Clients self-serve coffee, breakfast, lunch and external catering options. 

 

The Food Service Manager is responsible for developing and implementing dining solutions to meet customer needs and tastes. Oversees and manages operations where customers select prepared foods from kiosks and micro-markets.  The Food Service Manager also facilitates catering orders, set up and service as required.

Job Responsibilities

•    Independently manages the Self-Serve food and beverage operations throughout the building
•    Responsible for inventory, ordering and receiving products to stockroom 
•    Ensures all coffee stations, kiosks and micro-markets are fully stocked and replenished regularly
•    Fills required machines, appliances; maintains cleanliness and order at all times
•    Manages ordering and inventory records, reconciliations, invoicing and automated sales records
•    Arranges catering from external vendors; responsible for receiving and event set-up as required
•    Reviews product options and selections based on client requests and preferences
•    Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with clients, managers and vendors
•    Brings value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
•    Follow all applicable policies, rules, and regulations

Qualifications

•    2- 3 years management experience in a Food and Beverage operation
•    Previous experience arranging and executing catered events is required
•    Experience with ordering and inventory processes and documentation
•    Must be computer literate to work within various programs, extensive use of Excel
•    Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
•    Exceptional organization ability and attention to the smallest detail is required
•    Ability to maintain effective client rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
•    Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark’s standard service model
•    Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.

The pay range for this position is $55,000.00 - $60,000.00.
