Aramark is seeking an experienced Food Service Site Director who is ready to manage our dining operations, innovate solutions, and execute brilliant plans to keep our customers happy and constantly amazed.  This operation is for a Business Dining account in downtown Toronto.  It is also predominately a Monday – Friday day shift.

Job Responsibilities

•    Manage and oversee culinary services and assist Catering Manager as required
•    Manage Aramark’s proprietary food stations, barista bar and self-serve micro-market
•    Lead, mentor, engage and develop unionized staff members to maximize their contributions
•    Develop and maintain effective customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationship Demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard model 
•    Identify client needs and effectively communicate operational progress
•    Build revenue and manage budget, including cost controls for food, beverage, and labor 
•    Produce financial projections, weekly operating reports, 
•    Direct and oversee operations related to production, distribution and foodservice  
•    Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees.  

Qualifications

•    Post secondary diploma or degree in Food, Hospitality, Business Management preferred
•    Meaningful experience in hospitality, contract service including managing teams
•    2-3 years management experience in a multi-unit or high volume setting is preferred
•    Experience managing in a unionized environment is an asset
•    Strong analytical, project planning, and Food and Beverage financial management skills
•    Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues and staff
