Job Description

A Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and/or building food items on the beltline and portioning various items while providing customer service and adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.

Job Responsibilities

•    Prepare and build food items for patients

•    Portion menu items in large quantities
•    Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
•    Replenish food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels.
•    Maintain general knowledge of therapeutic diets

•    Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward coworkers, customers and guests.  
•    Adhere to ARAMARK safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation standards
•    Maintain compliance with ARAMARK’s standards of operation. Adhere to ARAMARK’s Business Conduct Policy at all times. 

Qualifications

•   Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs.
•   Food Handlers Certificate Required 
•   Demonstrate excellent customer service skills

•   Must be able to multi task, work independently and as a team

•   Positive work attendance record is essential

•   Follow all new and existing departmental policies and procedures
