Culinary Chef Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

Kitchen Operations & Food Production
- Supervise daily food preparation and service to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation
- Monitor food quality, temperature control, and proper storage practices
Staff Supervision & Training
- Lead, assign, and supervise culinary staff during shifts
- Train new and existing team members on procedures, safety, and culinary techniques
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and positive workplace culture
Food Safety & Sanitation
- Enforce all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas, equipment, and food storage
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
Ordering & Waste Control
- Assist in ordering food and supplies; monitor inventory levels
- Reduce food waste and support budget and cost-control initiatives
- Ensure proper equipment usage and report maintenance needs
Customer & Client Satisfaction
- Address customer concerns professionally and promptly
- Support special dietary needs, allergens, and customized meal requests
- Ensure service meets organizational or client expectations
Qualifications

- A minimum of one year proven experience as a Lead Cook, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or in a similar culinary leadership role.
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety.
- Knowledge of Aramark concepts, Primaweb, and quality control standards.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple menus and locations simultaneously.
- Ability to analyse sales and volumes
- Creative and passionate about developing seasonal and special menus including ERG events.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a strong teaching acumen
- Flexibility to travel between different campus and account locations as needed.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00.
