Aramark Canada is looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Coordinator for our culinary operations at Memorial University in St. John’s Nfld. This position will assist in development and implementation of marketing plans and programs for the campus meal plans, franchise and proprietary outlets as well as on-campus and external catering services.

 

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator helps to support all critical business initiatives including sales growth, market penetration, customer retention, quality image, improved margins and market share for Aramark operations.In this role, you will be working closely with our onsite food service operations and campus marketing team to help bring our client’s vision and mission to life, increase student sales and drive our catering services both on and off campus.

Job Responsibilities

 •    Support the operations team in executing innovation launches that drive profit growth
•    Lead the sales growth and marketing campaigns for mandatory and voluntary meal plan programs
•    Lead the development of creative customer presentations, centering all marketing efforts to achieve sales and growth of our campus meal plan, franchise and proprietary outlets, as well as on-campus and external catering services
•    Coordinating student engagement activities showcasing new products and programs
•    Recommend actions, plan projects, estimate costs and manage projects to completion
•    Manage website content, enhancements, and work closely with the client marketing department 

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business is preferred
•    2-3 years previous experience in sales and marketing
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
•    An eye for design and branding
•    You are an outgoing, curious, upbeat individual with great interpersonal skills
•    Content creation experience (blogs, press releases, internal communication, social media posts)
•    Previous experience working in hospitality, tourism or food and beverage is preferred
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
•    Self-directed with strong organization and time management with the ability to organize work and set priorities
•    A valid driver’s license and own vehicle is an asset

The pay range for this position is $52,000.00 - $54,000.00.
