POSITION: Cook

LOCATION: Collège des Hauts-Sommets (97 Avenue de la Montagne, Saint-Tite-des-Caps, QC G0A 4J0)

SALARY: $21.00/hour

SCHEDULE / HOURS: 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Thursday (according to the school calendar)

START DATE: August 17, 2026

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in the preparation of the daily menu
• Cook and prepare a variety of food items following production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Prepare and cook menu items and complete final presentation
• Food and workstation setup (mise en place)
• Participate in meal service
• Assist with inventory counts
• Complete production, temperature, waste, and other required records
• Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies and procedures, and MAPAQ regulations
• Be flexible and able to support operational needs as required

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is considered an asset
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service periods
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities
• Positive attitude
