Title:  Food Service Worker

Job Description

Aramark is currently seeking a Kitchen Helper for the food service operation at Thread Collective in Ville Saint-Laurent.

Position: Kitchen Helper

Location: Thread Collective (5001 Levy Street, Saint-Laurent, QC H4R 2N9)

Salary: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour, to be discussed during the interview

Schedule / Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Schedule will be discussed during the interview.

Start Date: Immediately

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general food preparation duties
• Assist with kitchen setup and mise en place
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service
• Assist with dishwashing duties
• Participate in food service
• Stock shelves and refrigerators
• Clean service areas
• Follow all established safety regulations and procedures
• Perform any other related duties as required

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation is an asset
• Customer service experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Customer service oriented
• Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset, as some of our customers are English-speaking
