Aramark is currently seeking a Cook for the food service operation at Thread Collective in Ville Saint-Laurent.

Position: Cook

Location: Thread Collective (5001 Levy Street, Saint-Laurent, QC H4R 2N9)

Salary: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience, to be discussed during the interview

Schedule / Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Start Date: Immediately

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in preparing the daily menu
• Participating in meal service
• Catering preparation experience is an asset
• Demonstrate creativity while respecting client requirements
• Ensure high-quality food service standards and customer satisfaction
• Optimize food and labor costs
• Ensure compliance with management, health, hygiene, and food safety programs
• Monitor and control service quality and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry (asset)
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent organizational skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach to daily work
• MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certificate (asset)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work independently
• Positive attitude, punctuality, honesty, and sound judgment
