Title:  Custodial Services Worker III

Job Responsibilities

•    Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including following OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
•    Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
•    Accurately cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment
•    Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
•    Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
•    Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
•    Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as the need arises
•    Ensures security of company assets
•    Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Job Description Lead hand 3pm to 11pm

Position Summary: The Custodial Lead Hand provides leadership and direction to custodial staff to ensure that all assigned buildings and facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role involves performing custodial duties, training and guiding team members, scheduling work assignments, inspecting completed work, and ensuring compliance with Aramarks safety and cleanliness standards. 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary in facilities maintenance or related field an asset).

• Minimum [2–3] years of custodial or janitorial experience, with at least [1] year in a lead or supervisory role.

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.

• Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks and lifting up to [50 lbs].

• WHMIS or equivalent safety certification preferred.

• Previous custodial experience preferred 

• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
