Aramark is looking for Sous-chefs for Bishop's University
Location: Bishop's University (2600 Rue Collège, Sherbrooke, QC, J1M 1Z7)
Salary: $26.00Start date: Immediately 2025

Job Responsibilities
- Assist the chef in preparing the daily menuCook and prepare various foods following production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Proceed with cooking the dishes and finishing them.Participate in ordering
- Show creativity while respecting the client's expressed needsEnsure the good quality of food services and customer satisfaction
- Optimize the costs of ingredients and labor
- Ensure the application of programs regarding management, health, and food hygiene and safety
- Monitor and control the quality of service and customer satisfactionParticipate in inventory taking and ordering
- Participate in the development of certain food concept menus.
Qualifications
- Have 4 to 5 years of experience in food service or catering.Demonstrate rigor and method in daily work.
- Certificate in hygiene and sanitation from MAPAQ (asset).
- Bilingualism is an asset as some of our clients are English-speaking.Have leadership skills.
- Be able to work in a team.Be autonomous in tasks.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, honesty, and judgment.Customer service oriented.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
