Aramark is currently seeking General Helpers for the food service operations at Bishop’s University

Position: General  Helper

Location: Bishop’s University (2600 College Street, Sherbrooke, QC, J1M 1Z7)

Salary: Starting at $17.00/hour, to be discussed during the interview

Schedule: Several schedules available (days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends), to be discussed during the interview.

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• General food preparation
• Prepare and set up workstations for service
• Assist with meal service
• Ensure proper food rotation
• Assist with order placement
• Clean service areas
• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Ensure portion control and that product quality meets Aramark standards
• Follow food safety, sanitation, health, and hygiene programs and procedures
• Participate in the overall maintenance of the kitchen
• Follow all established safety regulations and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous food preparation experience is an asset
• Experience in food service or the restaurant industry
• Strong organizational skills
• Positive and professional attitude
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Customer service oriented
• Bilingualism is an asset, as some of our customers are English-speaking
