Aramark is Hiring General Kitchen Helpers for the Food Service Department at Bishop’s University

Position: General Kitchen Helper

Location: Bishop’s University (2600 College Street, Sherbrooke, QC, J1M 1Z7)

Salary: Starting at $17.00/hour, to be discussed during the interview

Schedule: Various schedules available (days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends), to be discussed during the interview.

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• General food preparation
• Prepare workstations and ingredients for service
• Assist with meal service
• Ensure proper food rotation
• Assist with preparing and organizing orders
• Clean service areas
• Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service
• Ensure portion control and maintain product quality according to Aramark standards
• Follow food safety, sanitation, health, and operational programs and procedures
• Participate in the general cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen
• Follow all established safety regulations and procedures
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• Previous food preparation experience is considered an asset
• Experience in food service or the restaurant industry
• Strong organizational skills
• Positive and professional attitude
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Customer service oriented
• Bilingualism is considered an asset, as some of our customers are English-speaking
