Aramark is currently seeking a General Help / Barista for the LLC Café at Bishop’s University.

Position: General Help – Barista

Location: Bishop’s University (2600 College Street, Sherbrooke, QC, J1M 1Z7)

Salary: Between $17.00 and $20.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: The schedule will be discussed during the interview. The position is part-time during the summer and will transition to full-time in the fall.

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality beverages, ground coffee, and food items for all customers while following established recipes and standards
Deliver exceptional customer service by always prioritizing the customer
Operate the cash register
 Assist with setup and stocking duties
Prepare sandwiches
Rotate food products according to established procedures
Restock refrigerators
Clean service areas
Comply with all established safety regulations
Be able to respond to operational needs as required
Perform any other related duties as needed

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a café environment is considered an asset
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and seek clarification when necessary
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Relationship-building skills
Strong organizational skills
Positive attitude
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Customer service oriented
Bilingualism is an asset, as some of our customers are English-speaking
