This position manages national brand relationships and works cross-functionally to translate strategy into revenue driving decisions and consistent field execution.

Candidates may be based anywhere within Canada; however, Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is preferred. This role requires travel across Canada (approximately 60%) to support operations, retail strategy execution, and brand partnerships.

Job Responsibilities

  • Retail Strategy & Portfolio Planning: Execute retail strategy reviews for priority accounts, RFPs, renewals, and growth opportunities. Evaluate financial, consumer, competitive, and operational insights to recommend concept mix, brand placement, menu strategy, daypart opportunities, value platforms, and investment priorities that drive retail revenue, participation, and guest satisfaction.

  • Franchise & National Brand Management: Manage relationships with franchise and national brand partners and serve as the primary liaison between brand partners and Aramark. Lead contract renewals, pricing updates, LTO coordination, openings, closures, renovations, relocations, and brand standards implementation while identifying opportunities to strengthen portfolio performance and partnerships.

  • Retail Growth, Investment & Performance Optimization: Analyze portfolio performance and identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability, and guest experience across all retail brands. Lead competitive benchmarking, concept performance reviews, business case development, capital planning, and investment recommendations. Partner with Regional Marketing Managers, Field Marketing, Brand Development, Culinary, and Operations to implement targeted growth and improvement plans.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution: Lead cross-functional retail initiatives and ensure alignment between national strategies and field execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support retail priorities, concept launches, strategic projects, and account-level opportunities. Serve as a trusted retail subject matter expert to all stakeholders.

  • Measurement & Portfolio Performance: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the health and effectiveness of the company-wide and site-specific retail portfolio. Analyze sales, participation, profitability, concept performance, competitive positioning, and return on investment to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop dashboards and performance reviews, report results, and use insights to refine strategies, prioritize investments, and drive continuous improvement across franchise, proprietary, and local partner concepts.
