Title:  General Utility Worker

Job Description

Location: John Abbott College (21 275 Lakeshore Road, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC H9X 3L9)
Position: General Help and Dishwasher
Salary: $18.40/hour
Schedule: Multiple schedules and positions are available. Details will be discussed during the interview (based on the academic calendar).

Start Date: August 2026

Job Responsibilities

• General food preparation in the kitchen
• Food station setup and preparation
• Serve customers
• Wash, transport, and properly store dishes and kitchenware
• Operate the cash register and complete required reports
• Participate in receiving and organizing deliveries according to established standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Ensure the overall cleanliness of the premises (dishes, floors, display areas, emptying and weighing garbage, recycling, and compost from the kitchen, service areas, and dining room)
• Take and record temperatures as required
• Participate in merchandising activities and the promotion of various products and specials
• Work at various service stations according to the unit’s operational needs
• Perform any other related duties associated with food service, as required

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• Food preparation experience is an asset
• Attention to detail and ability to take initiative
• Positive attitude, punctuality, honesty, and adaptability
• Ability to work as part of a team and under supervision
• Customer service oriented
• Bilingualism is a strongly preferred asset

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, where applicable, a vulnerable sector screening. Employment with Aramark is conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.
