Location: John Abbott College (21,275 Lakeshore Road, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC H9X 3L9)

Position: General Help and Dishwasher

Wage: $18.40/hour

Schedule: Multiple schedules and positions are available. Details will be discussed during the interview (based on the academic calendar).

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general food preparation and assist with service setup.
• Serve customers courteously and provide excellent customer service.
• Wash, transport, and properly store dishes and kitchenware according to established procedures.
• Operate the cash register and complete required reports.
• Assist with receiving, verifying, and organizing deliveries in accordance with established standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure the overall cleanliness of work areas, including the kitchen, service areas, and dining room (dishes, floors, displays, waste, recycling, and compost management).
• Take and record temperatures in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with merchandising and promoting featured products and special offers.
• Work at various service stations based on operational needs.
• Perform other related duties as required to support food service operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Food preparation experience is an asset.
• Attention to detail and ability to take initiative.
• Positive attitude, punctuality, honesty, and adaptability.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under supervision.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Bilingualism is a highly valued asset.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete and successfully pass a criminal background check and, when required, a vulnerable sector screening. Employment with Aramark is conditional upon results that are deemed satisfactory by Aramark.
