POSITION: General Kitchen Helper

LOCATION: L'Oréal Hickmore (4895 Hickmore Street, Saint-Laurent, QC H4T 1K5)

WAGE: $18.00/hour

SCHEDULE / HOURS: Tuesday to Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (32 hours per week). Opportunity for a fifth workday on Mondays, occasionally, based on operational needs.

START DATE: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general food preparation duties and assist with food service setup.
• Reheat and assemble prepared meals according to established quality standards.
• Participate in meal service and help provide positive customer experience.
• Serve meals at the hot food station for approximately 20 to 25 customers.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Assist with dishwashing duties as required.
• Contribute to the general cleanliness and upkeep of the kitchen, service areas, and workspaces.
• Greet customers courteously and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Follow all applicable health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform other related duties as required to support operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Experience in food service, the restaurant industry, or a similar environment is considered an asset.
• Experience using ovens or other cooking equipment is considered an asset.
• Positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer experience.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset, as some of our customers are English-speaking.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete and successfully pass a criminal background check and a vulnerable sector screening (if required by the operation). If hired, employment with Aramark will be conditional upon Aramark being satisfied that both requirements have been successfully met.
