Job Description

Aramark is currently seeking Cooks for the food service operations at AbbVie.

Location: AbbVie (8401 Trans-Canada Highway, Saint-Laurent, QC H4S 1Z1)

Position: Cook

Salary: $20.00/hour

Schedule / Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Prepare salads for the salad bar and catering services.
• Prepare sandwiches for catering functions and special events.
• Set up food stations and work areas prior to service.
• Assemble and present catering trays and food displays.
• Participate in food inventory counts and stock management.
• Demonstrate creativity while meeting customer needs and expectations.
• Ensure the quality of food products and services while contributing to customer satisfaction.
• Prepare high-quality meals for the hot food station.
• Contribute to the optimization of food and labor costs.
• Ensure compliance with company programs and standards related to management, health, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation.
• Monitor and maintain service quality standards and customer satisfaction levels.
• Respond effectively to operational needs and adapt to changing priorities.
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry.
  • Experience with catering food preparation is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • MAPAQ Food Safety and Sanitation Certification is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to client satisfaction.
