Title:  Dietary Worker

Shifts from 4:00-7:00pm

.Aramark AgeCare Sagewood in Strathmore food services department provides dining opportunities to approximately 165 Senior Living residents, employees, family, and visitors. Through a combined menu of conventional cooking, we strive to provide exceptional variety and service through continued improvement and a focus on resident satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• The Dietary Aide is primarily responsible for duties related to meal service including plating, portioning, clearing, cleaning and sanitizing of resident dining and service areas.
• Table service to residents in the main dining room focusing on customer service and resident satisfaction.

• Follow appropriate food safety and handling procedures. Initiate corrective action as required.
• Assist in the service of Catering and other special functions.

• Inventory and replenishment of unit specific supplies.

• Maintain accurate equipment and food service temperatures.
• Practice proper use and sanitation of area and equipment.
• Participate in food and equipment product evaluations.
• Communicate resident’s diet concerns to the Dietitian.
• Displays polite, spirit-of-service attitude towards residents and co-workers. 

Qualifications

•    Previous customer service experience preferred
•    Experience in food service, as a dietary aide, or in a related field preferred
•    Needs to communicate fluently in the English language, bilingual or multilingual a plus.
•    Ability to stay calm under pressure.
•    Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
