Job Description

The Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board is currently seeking General Utility Workers to join the food services teams at Laval Junior Academy and Rosemere High School.

Position: General Utility Worker

Location: Laval Junior Academy (2323 Daniel Johnson Blvd., Laval, QC H7T 1H8)

• Schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (According to the school calendar)

Location: Rosemere High School (530 Northcote Road, Rosemere, QC J7A 1Y2)

• Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (According to the school calendar)

Hourly Rate: $17.25

Position: Lead General Utility Worker

Location: Laval Junior Academy (2323 Daniel Johnson Blvd., Laval, QC H7T 1H8)

• Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (According to the school calendar)

Hourly Rate: $19.00

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Operate the cash register
• Assist with general kitchen preparation (cookies, packaging products, etc.)
• Perform food station setup and preparation
• Restock shelves and refrigerators
• Clean service and dining areas
• Assist with dishwashing duties
• Follow all established safety procedures and regulations
• Perform other related duties as required

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
