Job Description

As part of the partnership between the Pessamit community and Aramark Québec, we are seeking room attendants for the Hydro-Québec Manic-3 camp.

Aramark offers a 14 days on / 14 days off work rotation.

Transportation is provided by plane from the Montréal and Québec City airports.
A shuttle service will also be available from Pessamit and Baie-Comeau to Manic-3.

Employees are meals provided and accommodated in private rooms.
Washers and dryers are available on site.

Aramark offers highly competitive group insurance plans.

Position: 4 Room Attendants
Location: Manic-3
Salary: $21.02/hour

The schedule is 70 hours per week. Overtime hours beyond 40 hours are paid at time and a half

Job Responsibilities

• Clean rooms and bathrooms in accordance with Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to ensure the safety and health of others.
• Be able to respond to operational needs.
• Ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with current hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene and sanitation programs.
• Follow safety procedures and apply basic precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Comply with all applicable safety regulations.
• Perform any other related tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping (asset).
• Experience working in a remote camp (asset).
• WHMIS certification (asset).
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to adapt effectively to changing demands.
• Attention to detail.
• Good physical condition.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, honesty, and sound judgment.

  The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, when required, a vulnerable sector background check. Employment with Aramark is conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by the company.
