Job Description

Aramark offers a 14‑days‑on / 14‑days‑off rotation schedule.

Transportation is provided by air from the Montréal and Québec City airports.
A shuttle service is also available from Pessamit and Baie‑Comeau to Manic‑3.

Employees are provided with meals and single‑occupancy accommodation.
Laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are available on site.

Position: Third Cook
Location: Manic‑3
Salary: $22.42/hour

The work schedule is 70 hours per week.
Hours worked beyond 40 hours per week are paid at time and a half.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily preparation and cooking of meals according to the established menu, while ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met.
• Ensure proper mise en place in accordance with established standards.
• Be able to meet operational needs.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, colleagues, etc.
• Ensure the quality of food services and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation programs.
• Follow all applicable safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in cooking or equivalent experience (asset).
• MAPAQ certification (asset).
• 1 to 2 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry.
• Solid culinary skills (asset).
• Experience in remote camp settings (asset).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, honesty, and sound judgment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently.
