Job Description

As part of the partnership between the Pessamit community and Aramark Quebec, we are looking for Janitor for the Hydro-Québec Manic-3 camp.

Aramark offers a 14/14 work rotation.

Transportation is provided by plane from Montréal and Québec City airports.
A shuttle service will be offered from Pessamit and Baie-Comeau to Manic-3.

Employees are provided with meals and individual accommodation. Washer and dryer are available.

Aramark offers highly competitive group insurance plans.

Position: Janitor
Location: Manic-3
Salary: $21.02/hour

The schedule consists of 70 hours per week. After 40 hours, overtime is paid at time and a half.

Only candidates selected and eligible to work in Canada will be contacted.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas (kitchen, buildings, and common areas) in accordance with Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Carry out housekeeping for the camp.
• Properly clean and maintain housekeeping equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to ensure the safety and health of others.
• Be able to respond to operational needs.
• Ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene and sanitation programs.
• Follow safety procedures and apply basic precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Comply with all safety regulations in effect.
• Perform any other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping (asset).
• Experience in remote camps (asset).
• WHMIS certification (asset).
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Autonomy in task completion.
• Ability to respond effectively to changing requirements.
• Attention to detail.
• Good physical condition.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, honesty, and good judgment.
