Job Description

ARAMARK is seeking General Kitchen Helpers for Hydro-Québec, East Baie-James.

Aramark offers a 15/13 work rotation schedule.

Transportation is provided by air from the Bagotville and Rouyn-Noranda airports.

Employees are provided with meals and private accommodation. Washer and dryer facilities are available on site.

Position: General Kitchen Helper
Location: Hydro-Québec, East Baie-James

Wage: $22.97/hour

The wage will be increased in accordance with the collective agreement in effect after the successful completion of the 300-hour probationary period.

The schedule consists of 70 hours per week. Overtime hours worked beyond 55 hours per week are paid at time and a half.

Job Responsibilities

• Wash, transport, and store dishes.
• Perform cleaning duties.
• Maintain the kitchen and equipment.
• Assist with food preparation as required.
• Ensure cleanliness of the workstation and surrounding areas.
• Follow established safety regulations.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a remote camp environment is considered an asset.
• WHMIS certification is considered an asset.
• Ability to meet operational requirements.
• Follow established safety regulations.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, where applicable, a vulnerable sector check. Employment with Aramark will be conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.
