ARAMARK is currently seeking General Kitchen Helpers for Hydro‑Québec, East Baie‑James

Aramark offers 15 days on / 13 days off work rotation.

Transportation is provided by airplane from the Bagotville and Rouyn‑Noranda airports.

Employees are provided with meals, accommodated in a private room, and washer and dryer facilities are available.

Position: General Kitchen Helper
Location: Hydro‑Québec, East Baie‑James

Salary: $22.97/hour

The salary will be increased according to the applicable collective agreement after a 300‑hour probation period.

The schedule is 70 hours per week. After 55 hours, overtime is paid at time and a half.

Job Responsibilities

• Wash, transport, and store dishes.
• Perform cleaning tasks.
• Maintain the kitchen and equipment.
• Assist with food preparation as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness of the workstation and surrounding areas.
• Follow established safety regulations.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a remote camp environment is an asset.
• WHMIS certification is an asset.
• Ability to meet operational needs.
• Adherence to established safety regulations.
• Ability to perform any other related duties as required.

• Excellent customer service skills.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, when applicable, a vulnerable sector background check. Employment with Aramark is conditional upon satisfactory results as determined by the company.
