Job Description
As part of its operations at Hydro-Québec, East Baie-James, ARAMARK is currently seeking a 3rd Cook.
Aramark offers 15 days on / 13 days off rotation schedule.
Transportation is provided by airplane from the Bagotville and Rouyn-Noranda airports.
Employees are provided with meals and accommodation in a private room. Washer and dryer facilities are available on site.

Position: 3rd Cook
Location: Hydro-Québec, East Baie-James
Salary: $24.72/hour
- The salary will be increased in accordance with the applicable collective agreement upon completion of the 300-hour probation period.
The schedule is 70 hours per week. After 55 hours, overtime is paid at time and a half.
Job Responsibilities
- Cook and prepare various food items according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
- Prepare the daily menu.
- Be able to meet operational requirements.
- Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment. Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food items.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, colleagues, and others.
- Ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction.
- Clean and maintain the work area.
Qualifications
- Culinary diploma (DEP) preferred or equivalent experience.
- One to two years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry.
- Strong culinary foundation is an asset.
- Experience in a remote camp environment is an asset.
- MAPAQ certification.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation programs.
- Follow all established safety regulations and procedures.

The pay range for this position is $24.72 - $25.72.
