ARAMARK is currently seeking Housekeepers/Janitors for Hydro-Québec – East James Bay

ARAMARK offers 15 days on / 13 days off work rotation.

Transportation is provided by airplane from the airports of Bagotville and Rouyn-Noranda.

Employees are provided with meals, private accommodation, and access to washer and dryer facilities.

Position: Housekeeper / Janitor

Location: Hydro-Québec, East James Bay

Salary: $24.05/hour

The hourly rate will increase to $25.05/hour in accordance with the current collective agreement after the successful completion of the 300-hour probationary period.

• Candidates must possess a valid driver's licence.

The schedule consists of 70 hours per week. Hours worked beyond 55 hours per week are paid at time and a half.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, washrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment that promotes the health and safety of others.
• Clean assigned areas according to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Follow all established safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be versatile and adaptable.
• Previous experience in a remote camp environment is considered an asset.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and basic precautions due to physical hazards and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational skills, courteous attitude, reliability, and ability to work well in a team environment.
• WHMIS certification is considered an asset.
• Must be able to meet operational requirements.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, when applicable, a vulnerable sector screening. Employment with Aramark is conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.
