Aramark is seeking a Janitorial Manager for Hydro‑Québec in East James Bay

Position: Janitorial Manager
Location: East James Bay

• Ability and willingness to travel or work long rotations away from home
• Work schedule: 15 days on / 13 days off
• During camp rotations, most workdays range from 10 to 12 hours
• Transportation is by plane from Bagotville or Rouyn‑Noranda airports; Aramark reimburses travel expenses to the airport
• Meals and accommodation at the camp are provided at no additional cost

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop teams to maximize their contributions, including performance management, training, and supervision
• Ensure employees clearly understand objectives and expectations
• Oversee and supervise all housekeeping activities in the camp facilities
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients, consumers, and employees
• Train and develop supervisory staff to become future leaders
• Perform administrative tasks, participate in scheduling, and support managers
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to promote safety and well‑being
• Clean assigned areas according to Aramark and client standards
• Comply with all safety regulations in place

Qualifications

• Significant experience in the housekeeping sector, including team management
• Experience in remote camp operations is an asset
• Versatile and adaptable
• Ability to follow safety procedures and basic precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong organizational skills; courteous, sociable, reliable, and team‑oriented
• WHMIS certification is an asset
• Ability to meet operational needs

Exigences

• Bonne résistance physique
• Être alaise avec un ordinateur, connaître la suite MS Office, Excel et Outlook.
• Capacité à communiquer efficacement avec les clients, les consommateurs, les collègues et le personnel. 
• Faire preuve d’organisation
• Attitude positive
• Être capable de travailler en équipe

Le/la candidat(e) finaliste pour ce poste devra compléter et réussir une vérification des antécédents criminels et une vérification du secteur vulnérable (si les opérations l'exigent).
