Cook - Food Service at École des Ursulines de Québec

Aramark is currently seeking a Cook for the food service operation at École des Ursulines de Québec.

Position: Cook

Location: École des Ursulines de Québec (4 Rue du Parloir, Québec, QC G1R 4M5)

Salary: To be discussed during the interview

Schedule / Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (following the school calendar)

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in preparing the daily menu.
• Cook and prepare a variety of food items according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstations with all required ingredients and equipment.
• Cook and finish items on the menu.
• Monitor and record food temperatures.
• I am participating in inventory management and ordering processes.
• Assist during meal service.
• Demonstrate creativity while meeting client needs and expectations.
• Ensure the quality of food services and customer satisfaction.
• Help optimize food and labor costs.
• Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Comply with all health, safety, and workplace hygiene standards in accordance with applicable regulations, company policies and procedures, and MAPAQ requirements.
• Be flexible and able to support operational needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak service periods.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Quick, organized, courteous, resourceful, and a team player.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry (asset).
• Diploma in Restaurant Management, Dietetic Technology, or Institutional Cooking (DEP) (asset).
