Chef – Remote Sites (Baie-Comeau and Port-Cartier) – 2 Positions Available At Aramark, we believe a Chef’s role goes far beyond preparing meals. We are looking for passionate leaders with strong culinary expertise, customer service skills, and team management experience to join our remote site operations. Working Conditions

• 14 days on / 14 days off rotation schedule
• Accommodation and meals provided during each rotation
• Transportation arranged by Aramark
• Marshalling point from Montreal or Quebec City
• Camp-based work in a remote location
• Workdays may vary based on operational requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support kitchen teams
• Ensure food preparation and meal quality meet Aramark standards
• Assist with menu planning and inventory management
• Monitor food costs and ensure budget compliance
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Train, mentor, and engage team members
• Collaborate with operations teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience
• Ensure kitchen equipment and facilities are properly maintained and operated

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role
• Culinary education or equivalent experience
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work in a remote camp environment on a rotational schedule
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills

The pay range for this position is $65 000,00 - $70 000,00.
