Job Description

ARAMARK is currently seeking Housekeepers for the Fire Lake – Amen Camp operation.

Aramark offers 14 days on / 14 days off rotation schedule.

Hours worked beyond 40 hours per week are paid in accordance with applicable overtime regulations, with the next 30 to 40 hours paid at time-and-a-half.

Aramark provides a transportation allowance. Access to the camp is by air from Wabush Airport, and air transportation is provided by the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment that promotes the health, safety, and well-being of others.
• Clean and sanitize assigned areas in accordance with Aramark standards and client requirements.
• Perform various housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, floor washing, and waste removal.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout all living and working areas.
• Follow all Aramark health, safety, and operational policies and procedures always.
• Demonstrate flexibility and be available to provide coverage within food services and housekeeping operations when required.
• Respond effectively to operational needs and contribute to the smooth running of daily activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality service.
• Perform all other related duties as required to support operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
• Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is considered an asset.
• Positive attitude, honesty, and sound judgment.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

   

  A successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, where required, a vulnerable sector screening. Employment with Aramark is conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.
