Aramark offers 14 days on / 14 days off work rotation.
After 40 hours, overtime is paid at time and a half.

Aramark provides a transportation allowance. Access to the camp is by plane from Wabush Airport, and airfare is also paid.

Employees are meals and accommodation included, with private rooms. Washer and dryer are provided.

Wages:

• 1st Cook: $25.09/hour
• 2nd Cook: $23.66/hour
• 3rd Cook: $22.30/hour

Job Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods following production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Prepare the daily menu
• Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment; prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, slicing, and peeling food items
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, and coworkers
• Ensure the quality of food services and customer satisfaction
• Clean and maintain the workstation
• Be able to meet operational needs
• Perform any other related duties as required

Qualifications

• Culinary diploma (DEP) preferred or equivalent experience
• Strong culinary foundation is an asset
• Experience working in remote camps is an asset
• MAPAQ certification
• Ability to meet operational needs
• Ensure hygiene and food safety programs are followed
• Comply with established safety regulations

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check, and when required, a vulnerable sector background check. Employment with Aramark will be conditional upon satisfactory results as determined by Aramark.
