Aramark offers a 14/14 work rotation.
After 54 hours, the next 30 to 40 hours are paid at time and a half.

Aramark provides a transportation allowance; employees must travel to Port-Cartier by their own means.

Employees are provided with meals and accommodations (private room). Washer and dryer are provided.

Candidates must reside in Port-Cartier, Sept-Îles, or the surrounding areas. A transportation allowance will be provided.

• First Cook: $27.78/hour
• Second Cook: $25.97/hour

Night shift premium
Split-shift premium

Start Date: Immediately – 2026

Job Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food items following production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Prepare the daily menu.
• Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment. Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food items.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, colleagues, etc.
• Ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction.
• Clean and maintain the work area.
• Be able to meet operational needs.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Preferably hold a vocational diploma (DEP) in cooking or equivalent experience.
• Strong culinary skills are an asset.
• Experience working in a remote camp environment is an asset.
• MAPAQ certification.
• Ability to meet operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety programs.
• Follow established safety regulations

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, when applicable, a vulnerable sector check. Employment with Aramark will be conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by the company.
