Job Description
We are looking to hire a supervisor at our Tim Horton's location at Fleming College.
As supervisor you are a critical part of our restaurant leadership team. Supervisors work with our management to provide the direction and training required on every shift to exceed our customer's expectations. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the execution of daily operations activities
The following provides an overview of the basic responsibilities of a Shift Supervisor:
You will oversee and manage the day to day operation, provide great customer service and provide leadership in a team-oriented atmosphere.
You must be available to work a variety of shifts when required.
Job Responsibilities
- Retains control of production costs, supply costs, and inventory by adhering to all standards of operation.
- Audits service and quality on a regular basis.
- Adheres to all standards and established tracking procedures daily.
- Develops and implements strategies to achieve customer satisfaction goals.
- Supervises teamwork and service on a regular basis.
- Supervises day-to-day employee issues in a professional manner while adhering to all Aramark policies and procedures.
- Supports and implements training programs that develop skills to better serve guests, build repeat business, grow revenue, and improve morale.
- Assists in annual employee reviews and supervises interim performance issues.
- Supervisor accurate adherence to Aramark's time and attendance procedures.
- Train, monitor and reinforce food safety procedures to team members.
- Perform walk-throughs to ensure the restaurant is ready to open/close and/or rush-ready.
- Work with the Restaurant Management team to train, develop and communicate with team members in a way that maximizes retention.
- Supervise, coordinate and delegate the execution of operations tasks and ensure compliance with all Company policies.
- Work with the Management team to ensure quality, production and service standards are met and to create a safe, efficient and professional environment for customers and other employees.
- Assist the Management team in maintaining proper coverage via team member schedules to ensure that the restaurant attains/exceeds all customer service standards.
- Follow up and ensure resolution of guest-related issues as needed.

Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in a food service environment
- Strong team management and customer service skills
- Proficient in POS systems
- Knowledge of food handling and restaurant management
- Have strong organizational and communication skills
- Available to work flexible schedules
- Be guest service oriented and committed to deliver exceptional guest experience
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
