Job Description
The Warehouse Lead Worker is responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock/product, preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup, and performing inventory and quality controls. May be responsible for oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the warehouse operation. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
Job Responsibilities
• Know and comply with all ARAMARK and client policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and emergencies.
• Assists with food deliveries and non-food items for quality and quantity to verify receipts of items on requisition or invoice.
• Accepts when in compliance with order; rejects or notes discrepancy when out of compliance.
• Assists regarding the methods of storage, identification, and stock location considering temperature, humidity, height, and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space, and other proper storage procedures.
• Assists in conducting inventory.
• Fills orders or issues supplies or materials from stock.
• Compiles reports of use of stock.
• Assists to prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock.
• Use arithmetic to keep records, take inventory, estimate quantities, or schedule the flow of materials through the loading dock.
• Avoid errors in record keeping.
• Measure, handle, store, or move large and small items.
• Assists the Receiver to coordinate with Security staff to ensure proper Dock guidelines are being enforced.
• Receiving and inspecting deliveries for accuracy and condition
• Verifying quantities against packing slips
• Entering and updating receiving records in CBORD/system
• Organizing and distributing received goods to the correct areas/departments
• Communicating with suppliers or internal teams when there are discrepancies
• Maintaining basic inventory records and stock locations
Qualifications

Requires previous warehouse experience

Experience in a supervisor or related role preferred

Requires the ability to work independently with limited supervision
-
Requires the ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
-
Requires basic math and counting skills
-
Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking & standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $19.07 - $19.76.
