Job Responsibilities
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
- Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
- Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
- Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
- Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications
- Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures

Hiring a Lead Dishwasher: As a Lead Dishwasher you will oversees the dish pit, managing the flow of clean dishes, enforcing health codes, and coordinating with culinary staff. Essential responsibilities include operating commercial dish machines, training new staff, monitoring chemical levels, and performing physically demanding tasks like lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long shifts. Key Duties and Responsibilities Staff Oversight: Train, schedule, and delegate tasks to junior dishwashers to ensure smooth back-of-house operations during peak rush hours. Sanitation & Ware washing: Ensure all dishes, cutlery, and cookware are meticulously washed, sanitized, and stored. Equipment Maintenance: Operate industrial dishwashers, manage water temperatures, and ensure chemical dispensers are correctly calibrated. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of detergents, gloves, and cleaning supplies, reporting shortages to management. Kitchen Cleanliness: Coordinate deep cleaning schedules for floors, trash areas, walk-in coolers, and kitchen equipment. Workflow Coordination: Prioritize urgent dishware (like chef's knives or specific pans) to keep the line cooks moving. Essential Qualifications and Skills Experience: Typically 1-3 years of prior experience in a commercial kitchen or similar high-volume setting. Leadership: Strong organizational and communication skills required to manage a team and coordinate with management. Physical Stamina: Must be able to continuously stand, lift heavy items, and work in hot, humid environments for 8 to 10 hours.
