Job Description
ARAMARK is looking for a Second Cook for Nemiscau Camp, Baie-James
Aramark offers 14 days on / 14 days off rotation.
Transportation is provided by plane from the airports of: Montréal, Québec (Bagotville), and Rouyn-Noranda.
Employees are provided with meals and private accommodation, as well as access to washer and dryer facilities.

Position: Second Cook
Location: Hydro-Québec, Nemiscau, Baie-James
Salary: $25.42/hour
The schedule is 70 hours per week; after 55 hours, overtime is paid at time and a half
Job Responsibilities
- Primary duty is preparing and setting up breakfast service for the following day starting at 5:00 a.m.
- Preparing desserts for daily service and special occasions
- Ensuring all prepared and served items meet established standards and procedures
- Ensuring all cold table items are properly presented
- Maintaining high food quality and customer satisfaction in accordance with company standards and policies
- Performing other duties as required (note: this description reflects a typical workday)
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Assisting with stocking food supplies when required
- Cleaning work area
- Ensuring proper operation and maintenance of equipment, as well as kitchen safety and hygiene
- Following all established safety regulations
- Performing any other related duties as needed
- Ability to meet operational needs
Qualifications
- DEP in cooking (or equivalent experience) preferred
- 3 to 4 years of experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Solid cooking foundation is an asset
- Experience in remote camps is an asset
- MAPAQ certification
- Knowledge and application of hygiene and sanitation standards
- Compliance with safety regulations

The pay range for this position is $25.42 - $25.42.
