Aramark is looking for a sous chef for our food service at the National Bank in Montreal
Position: Chef de Partie
Location: NATIONAL BANK (800 St-Jacques Street, Montreal, H3C 1A3)
SCHEDULE/HOURS: Monday to Friday, daytime
START DATE: Immediately 2025

Job Responsibilities
- Assist the head chef in managing a catering team of 10 people.
- Offer our guests mouthwatering flavors and high-quality dishes.
- Support, train, supervise, and develop a dedicated and passionate kitchen team.
- Create a respectful and inclusive environment that welcomes and supports people from all backgrounds and enables them to reach their full potential.
- Encourage team engagement and retention through training, recognition, and ongoing coaching.
- Manage the budget efficiently and professionally and actively participate in kitchen management activities.
- Ensure smooth operations, excellent service, and compliance with food hygiene standards.
- Cook high-volume catering services.
- Demonstrate creativity while respecting the customer's expressed needs.
- Ensure the high quality of food services and customer satisfaction.
- Optimize food and labor costs.
- Ensure the implementation of programs related to management, health, and food hygiene and safety.
- Monitor and control the quality of service and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in inventory taking and ordering.
- Participate in the development of menus for certain food concepts.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in food service or catering
- 2 years of experience in catering preparation
- Experience in personnel management (highly recommended)
- Strong leadership skills, promoting team development and motivation.
- Promote a culture focused on excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
- Passion, energy, and professionalism with a positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm.
- Excellent stress management, ability to work calmly and with control, maintaining a high level of performance during busy periods.
- Maintains exemplary service standards while managing high volumes of guests.
- Disciplined and process-oriented, able to work calmly in all situations.
- Possesses excellent organizational skills and demonstrates rigor and method in daily work.
- Certificate in hygiene and sanitation from MAPAQ (asset)
- Diploma in restaurant management/dietetics/DEP in institutional cooking or equivalent experience
- Occasional availability for evening events
