Job Description
The Bilingual Indigenous Relations Liaison will focus on recruitment for Aramark camps within Ontario, with a particular focus on recruiting from the Moose Cree First Nation, to increase Indigenous employment and ensure retention. This will involve attending job fairs, site visits, and visiting communities.
Job Responsibilities
- Support recruitment efforts for camps with the local communities in Ontario, with a particular focus on Moose Cree First Nation for the Detour site.
- Assist in retention strategies to maintain Indigenous staff engagement.
- Represent Aramark by attending career fairs and other community events to increase brand awareness and knowledge of employment opportunities.
- Assist with other Indigenous Relations activities, as assigned by the Director.
- Responsible for meeting Employment and Retention KPIs for Ontario sites as established through client, joint venture partnerships and PAIR targets.
Qualifications
Education
Grade 12, university degree preferred
Experience
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with Indigenous engagement
- Extensive knowledge of Indigenous training, recruitment and retention strategies
- Extensive Knowledge of Ontario First Nation communities and community contacts
- Communications skills to draft recruitment plans, correspondence, newsletters and other community outreach tasks.
- Knowledge of all Safety policies and procedures. Particularly those associated with Remote work and travel.

The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00.
