POSITION: Cook

LOCATION: Montreal, Gouin Boulevard
SALARY: $24.50

SCHEDULE / HOURS: To be discussed during the interview; must be available from Thursday to Sunday. Full-time position.

START DATE: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the chef in preparing the daily menu
• Cook and finish dishes
• Participate in food service operations
• Experience in catering preparation (an asset)
• Demonstrate creativity while respecting the client’s expressed needs
• Ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction
• Optimize food and labor costs
• Ensure the application of management, health, hygiene, and food safety programs
• Monitor and control service quality and customer satisfaction
• Participate in the monthly inventory

Qualifications

• • 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry (an asset)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Demonstrate rigor and a methodical approach in daily work
  • MAPAQ food hygiene and sanitation certificate (an asset)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to work independently
  • Positive attitude
  • Customer service–oriented
  • Bilingualism is an asset, as some of our clients are English-speaking
