Job Description

As a Field Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in driving strategic marketing execution across multiple accounts within a defined district. You’ll support critical business initiatives including corporate marketing activations, consumer insights programs, account-level growth strategies, and brand health enhancement. This role is highly collaborative, working closely with the Senior Regional Manager – Marketing & Culinary, on-site operations, and culinary teams to build marketing acumen and deliver measurable results.

You’ll be instrumental in increasing customer satisfaction, improving margins, and expanding market share through branding, merchandising, and promotional activities—both national and local.

 

Please note that a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are required for regular travel between district accounts.

To be considered, candidates must be fully bilingual in both French and English (spoken, written, reading and comprehension).

Job Responsibilities

Drive Base Business Growth

  • Conduct regular visits to district accounts to identify opportunities for profitable growth.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on product offerings, pricing, merchandising, and promotions.
  • Co-develop account-specific marketing and growth plans, monthly campaign calendars, and social media content.
  • Lead field execution of marketing programs, promotions, consumer engagement activities, brand merchandising, and audits.
  • Track KPIs including sales, transaction volume, average check size, front-line contribution, meal plan analytics (Higher Education), and digital engagement.

 

Support Culinary, Wellness & Sustainability Programs

  • Collaborate on the development and regional adaptation of culinary, health & wellness, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure training and readiness of managers and frontline staff for program execution.
  • Customize and deploy educational materials on-site for consumer awareness.
  • Assist in product selection, placement, and pricing strategies aligned with wellness and local sourcing goals.
  • Conduct audits and site visits to monitor compliance and implement corrective actions.

 

Implement Consumer Insights

  • Lead execution of Aramark’s consumer insight programs (e.g., Voice of the Consumer, DiningStyles, Napkin Talk).
  • Analyze and share results with account teams and senior leadership.
  • Develop action plans to improve consumer satisfaction across the district.
  • Define customer segments and conduct annual competitive analysis for each account.

 

Build Marketing Acumen

  • Train operational teams on merchandising tactics, planograms, promotions, and pricing updates.
  • Participate in weekly district operations calls to share program health updates and improvement strategies.
  • Act as a marketing subject matter expert, building strong relationships with clients, operators, and frontline staff.

 

Support New Business & Account Retention

  • Create and distribute newsletters for district and key accounts.
  • Support and attend Client Business Reviews (CBRs).
  • Assist in strategic planning for account retention and participate in RFP and client presentations.
  • Curate and personalize marketing materials for business development proposals.
  • Support on-site opening plans for new account mobilizations.

Qualifications

    • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (e.g., B.A., B.Comm)
    • 3+ years of marketing experience; hospitality or foodservice industry preferred
    • Strong presentation and communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, interpret, and present marketing performance data
    • Excellent project management and multitasking abilities
    • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results independently
    • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
    • Understanding of foodservice operations, including menu and recipe dynamics
    • Familiarity with the Quebec retail and foodservice market is an asset
    • Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken, written, reading, and comprehension)
