Job Description
Aramark is currently seeking a Catering Cook for the National Bank food service catering department in Montréal.
Position: Catering Cook
Location: National Bank (800 St-Jacques Street, Montréal, QC H3C 1A3)
Hourly Rate: $24.00
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours, approximately 32 hours per week
Start Date: Immediate
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef in planning and preparing catering menus.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while following recipes and production standards.
- Set up workstations by ensuring all required ingredients, supplies, and equipment are available.
- Perform cooking, assembly, and finishing dishes according to established quality standards.
- Actively participate in service periods and help ensure smooth daily operations.
- Demonstrate creativity while meeting client needs and expectations.
- Ensure the quality of food services and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards for food production and overall client experience.
- Follow and enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies, and MAPAQ requirements.
- Demonstrate flexibility to support operational needs and assist team members as required.
Qualifications
- Two to three years of experience in food service, catering, or the restaurant industry is considered an asset.
- Experience in high-end catering is a strong asset.
- Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and precision.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certification is considered an asset.
- Diploma in Restaurant Management, Dietetic Technology, or a vocational diploma (DEP) in Institutional Cooking is considered an asset.
