Aramark is Seeking a Cook for Collège Sainte-Marceline

Position: Cook

Location: Collège Sainte-Marceline
9155 Gouin Boulevard West, Montreal, QC H4K 1C3

Salary: $21.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (following the school calendar)

Start Date: August 24

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in menu preparation
• Prepare, cook, and finalize dishes
• Set up and maintain workstation mise en place
• Demonstrate creativity while meeting the client's specific needs and expectations
• Ensure the quality of food services and client satisfaction
• Optimize food and labor costs
• Ensure compliance with management, health, food safety, and sanitation programs
• Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction
• Be able to support operational needs as required

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is an asset
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Catering preparation experience is an asset
• Strong organizational skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach to daily tasks
• MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certificate is an asset
• Ability to work independently
• Positive attitude

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete and successfully pass a criminal background check and a vulnerable sector check (if required by the operation).
