Aramark is recruiting a Chef Manager to run our culinary operations in an office building in Moncton.  This is a small operation that services 30-50 patrons throughout the weekdays. This is a Monday – Friday DAY shift!

We’re looking for Chef Manager who can help us deliver the best customer service and food experiences. Our Chef Manager will also play a key role in helping us meet budget requirements and execute company-delivered programs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Select and develop recipes as well as standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality 
  • Prepare and serve a daily special and made-to-order dishes from the menu
  • Establish presentation technique and quality standards, and plan and price menus 
  • Estimate food consumption, conduct inventories, ordering, receiving; manage costs and budgets
  • Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
  • Provide exceptional customer service to the patrons who work for the client on-site

Qualifications

•    Requires 2-3 years of culinary experience in a sous-chef or Chef Manager position
•    Post-secondary culinary degree or diploma is preferred
•    Ability to prepare a variety of international culinary dishes using PRIMA recipe database
•    1-2 years management and budget experience – must understand P&L concepts 
•    Solid interpersonal and customer service skills to represent Aramark at the client site 
•    Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession 
•    Requires computer skills and strong oral communication ability
